Battlegrounds Mobile India pre registration has gone live in the country on Google Play Store for Android, as promised. While the Battlegrounds Mobile India release date is yet to be officially announced, reports speculate it could happen sometime in early June. Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registration also offers exciting rewards available only for Indian players. The game will offer PUBG Mobile-like gameplay experience but with less violence, more privacy, and security, among other things. Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registration for iOS is not open just yet.

Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registration link is already live on the Google Play Store. To pre-register, head over to the Battlegrounds Mobile India application on the Google Play Store and click on the ‘pre-register’ button. That’s it. Users will be notified when the game is launched and is available to download and play. Krafton had said there will be 4 exclusive pre-registration rewards, including the Recon Mask, the Recon Outfit, Celebration Expert Title, and 300 AG.

To pre-register, go to the Google Play store, search for the game and tap on the “Pre-register” button.

Battlegrounds Mobile will be quite different from PUBG Mobile global version. All the players will be fully clothed when they land on a map, the game will have less visual bloodshed comparatively and the blood will be in green instead of red. Though the maps could be similar to PUBG Mobile, they could have different names and most importantly, PUBG Mobile player IDs and achievements may not be retained. The game could have exclusive in-game content like events, limited edition costumes, and much more.

Lastly, Krafton is focusing on privacy and parent controls for minors below 18 years old. All the user data will be stored locally as per the government of India guidelines. Minors will require to enter the mobile number of their parents or guardians in the game to verify parental consent. Additionally, they can only play the game for three hours a day. The in-app purchases are restricted to Rs 7,000 per day.

As per the description on the Google Play Store, Battlegrounds Mobile India is “a battle royale game where multiple players employ strategies to fight and be the last man standing on the battlegrounds. A free-to-play, multiplayer experience, in Battlegrounds Mobile India, players can battle it out in diverse game modes which can be squad based or even one-on-one.”

There are some terms on rewards for pre-registration from KRAFTON.

Pre-registration reward offer only valid to users who pre-register on Google Play during pre-registration period. Limit of one pre-registration reward per account. Battlegrounds Mobile India has teased the popular Sanhok map through a poster on its official Facebook page. The game is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile and the name was recently revealed by publisher Krafton. Battlegrounds Mobile India does not have a release date yet but the developers have said it is coming soon. The game is anticipated to be quite similar to the original PUBG Mobile with a few India specific changes. Krafton had also announced it will build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly.

Krafton teased the map location in a photo with the caption that says, “We’ve waited for you as long as you have for us! Gather your squads and prepare to rule the battlegrounds!” There is no mention of the map, but ardent PUBG Mobile players are finding it difficult not to compare it with the Sanhok map, which is available on the regular version. The photo shows a level-three helmet dropped off on a cliff while there are a few huts in the area below it beside the sea. But there are no avatars to be seen or any sort of weapon or vehicle to give away more details.

The developers recently shared the updated privacy policy for Battlegrounds Mobile India requiring parent’s consent for players under the age of 18 years. These players will have to provide a parent or guardian’s phone number to be able to play the game. Parents or guardians who feel that their child has provided personal information without their consent can contact the developers and request for the information to be deleted from the system, the policy states.

PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020 along with 117 other apps. Since then, Krafton has been making efforts to bring the game back to India. A couple of months later, PUBG Mobile India was teased to be the Indian version of the game and was to mark the return of PUBG Mobile to the country. However, that did not pan out and now finally, Krafton has announced Battlegrounds Mobile India and its launch seems more promising.

A recent report by IGN India has said that Krafton has probably reached out to content creators in India urging them not to use “PUBG Mobile” anywhere in their content that goes on social media. There is a screenshot available, as well, where Krafton seems to be telling one of the creators that “We are a Korean Game with an Indian version just created for India. We would also suggest to not use PUBGM in your content anymore as it was banned and we don’t want it to be banned again. We would recommend using words like Battlegrounds Mobile India, Korean game, Indian version in your game.”

PUBG Mobile released with new name, now will be called – Check ‘Battlegrounds Mobile’  TEASER

However, it is also not the first time when game will be launching with new name rather than PUBG Mobile. China is having Game for Peace which is chinese rebranded version of PUBG Mobile. PUBG Mobile India  which may be launch with the name as Battlegrounds Mobile India, recently updated the url of official YouTube channel and Facebook page. 

They posted the official announcemen on official discord server, where they Announced-

They recently deleted all posts from their official Instagram handle where they left only one post. The page contains only one post which is teaser trailer of PUBG Mobile India. This teaser trailer was originally released months ago.

There is also a poster discovered by a PUBG Mobile fan. In this poster we can see a new title which contains India in it. Krafton Inc. (Developer company of PUBG Mobile) continuously hiring the employees in the India such as Marketing director, developers, and many more.

There is no denying the fact that Krafton wants to take all steps to relaunch PUBG Mobile India and it seems that the company is now willing even change the name of the game for this purpose. It may be recalled that in December 2020, Krafton launched a website confirming PUBG Mobile’s return to India under the “PUBG Mobile India” banner.

It is to be noted that PUBG Mobile India was banned by the Indian government in September 2020 over privacy concerns. While PUBG developers are yet to make any official announcement regarding the relaunch of PUBG Mobile India, speculations are rife that PUBG Mobile India would be relaunched soon. The possibilities of the game’s return have increased due to constant job listings by the company on LinkedIn.
